Heavy rains in October and November 2007 devastated the Mexican state of Tabasco, leaving 80 percent of the state underwater, forcing a large number of citizens from their homes, and killing a still-unknown amount of people. Media coverage of the Tabasco flood crisis has been minimal in the United States, and many do not know of the tragedy.

Miami-area jazz musicians are teaming up to help out the citizens of Tabasco, by collecting money at gigs in the Miami area. They'll be selling copies of the "Make It Spicy" CD single and dedicating spicy Latin songs to raise awareness of the Tabasco flood crisis.

This website is currently in development. Please keep checking back for more information on Make it Spicy and Miami-area jazz!
